Module reflection

Expand description

Safe access to object reflection metadata.

Structs§

  • A path from a root value to a nested one (ffi.reflection.AccessPath).
  • One step of an AccessPath: an attribute, array index or map key (ffi.reflection.AccessStep).
  • The reflection flags of one field (C++ refl::AttachFieldFlag and friends), combined with |.
  • Resolves a reflected field once, then uses its registered C ABI getter.
  • Registers the reflection of the object type N, as C++ refl::ObjectDef<N> does: the metadata, each #[reflect] field, the methods and the type attributes.
  • A registry-owned type-attribute column indexed by runtime type.

Enums§

  • How the structural engines treat instances of a type (C++ _type_s_eq_hash_kind).

Traits§

  • A copy of an object’s own fields under a fresh object header (the C++ copy constructor), which __ffi_shallow_copy__ returns.
  • An object type whose object can start with every field undefined, for reflection to set the fields: C++ UnsafeInit.

Functions§

  • Look up one type attribute and copy it into an owning value.
  • An object of T with every field undefined, as C++ make_object<T>(UnsafeInit{}) makes one, for reflection to set the fields through their setters.
